Greetings…
I graduated from Bridgewater State University in May 2014 with a deep interest in Permaculture and Life. The genesis of my interest in permaculture can be traced to the summer of 2013 when I volunteered at the Sun One Organic Farm in Bethlehem, CT. This interest brought me back to the farm in 2014. Now I reside in Massachusetts studying graphic design and working on various open-source software and providing graphics for more sophisticated site-specific analysis & assessment.
Permaculture is a design methodology that applies observations of natural systems to human systems. The holism that is inherent in this design methodology provides deep awareness that is useful in many aspects of life.
My interests include Socio-Cultural Anthropology, Autodidactism, Natural Science, Entrepreneurship, Philosophy, Local Food, Community Building, and Human Happiness and Fulfillment.
My main goal is to provide more depth and breadth to Permaculture as a design science as well as provide ideas about furthering it’s integration into the dominant culture in the United States.
This may sound ambitious, but I want to engage with others in an effort to understand, learn, grow, and share… I look forward to your feedback!
